TIME - Receiving information. Uprising in 2019. Everything was hitting me really quickly. How information hits you quickly. Settling or remembering. The processing of it and the slowness of it.

The art is what makes IT soften   

Too rigid? Its role in activism. It doesn't get across if it's too rigid.

It was great to be with Gabriela today. We danced and talked and shared. I feel so grateful for the opportunity to BE. To see but not see. To hear but not hear. To feel the desire to want to reach for an outcome but then feel the pleasure and comfort in being. Just that being. 

I am hearing and feeling the work and intentions Gabriela has for her work. It is so rich and has so much integrity behind it. Leaving a legacy of her family through her art. Finding community. Sharing her gift with the community through her art. Finding a softening in activism to share the experience with the world. (Her family's experience? Her lived experience?)

Sensing, feeling and inquiring where the beauty in it is.
